"No one is you and that is your power." ~ Dave Grohl
I knew I wanted to be a teacher when I was a little girl. I was lucky to have quite a few teachers in my family. They would let me help them set up their classrooms and correct papers. Then I was lucky enough to have some amazing teachers while I was a student. Those two factors made me want to be a teacher. I really love when I can work together with parents and families to make students' time with me as positive as possible. I really want my students to like coming to school.
Western Elementary is a great school. The people I work with want the best for every child and we help each other whenever possible. The students work hard to learn new things and the families are so supportive. We are very lucky.
