Grade 3 Classroom Teacher
I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher. When I was a little girl, I would put together little packets with shapes, colors, the alphabet, and numbers for my younger cousins to learn from. Playing school was one of my favorite activities as a child. Teaching and helping others’ learn just seemed to be something that I always enjoyed doing. Being an elementary school teacher is a very rewarding experience. I like being able to help students’ learn, achieve their goals, and push them to work harder than they thought possible. Something that makes Western School a great place to be is the staff and students. The people that I am fortunate enough to work with always come together to make our school inviting, fun, and engaging. Each staff member truly looks out for the best interest of the students. In addition, the students contribute to the success of our school through their perseverance and willingness to try new things.
